Working with the Advanced Tab
Content for different roles
If you have added your first content and switch to the advanced tab you have the option to save the current content (that is the text that is now in your editors text areas) and select another role to edit / add content for. Follow the instructions below:
- Type in some content, note the label on top of the screen stating "You are now editing content for AllUsers"
- Switch to the advanced tab, select a role that you want to add another content for and click on "Save and edit content for". This will save the current content for All users and reloads the editor. Note the label on top of the screen now stating "You are now editing content for [Your-selected-Role]" - This means that content for "All Users" has been saved successfully.
- Click on "Update" at the bottom of the screen or repeat the steps above to add content for another role.
Once you have multiple content set in the module you can switch to the advanced tab where you can select a specific content for a specific role to be edited or you can change the view order for your content. View Order works as follows:
The content with the highest priority is to be served first. The module will try to serve the content with the highest priority by checking if the current user account is in the role that the content is for. If it is not it will look if there is other content (with lower priority) and serve that content instead. If the module cannot serve any content because there is no content for a role that the current user is in it will hide the complete module from the user.
You can hide the complete module for unauthenticated users by checking the "Hide module from anonymous users" checkbox.
Setting a module title
This allows you to set a localized module title that will be displayed instead of the regular module title set in the module settings of the module.
Activateing statistics
Checking the "Show last updated by" and "last updated at" checkboxes renders a corresponding text label below the module content. The text of this label can be localized by editing the resource files of the module
