• Go to the module settings of your Magic Links module
• Scroll to very bottom of the Magic Links Settings area
• Click on Import From DNN Links Module
• Select the Links module that you would like to upgrade from
• Click on Import
• The utility will tell you the result
• Click on Back

You are now free to delete the DNN links module from where you just imported your links.

Note that the import utility will list every links module instance in the portal, it will also offer deleted links modules to import from.
