MagicContent - Content Management of the next generation...

MagicContent can replace the built in Text / HTML module and extends content management with several useful and comfortable features that make content publishing a quick and easy process

New and improved features:

• Tabbed Editmode - shows one edit tab for each supported portal locale - no postback but true DHTML
• One-Click Publishing of content- thanks to moving all advanced options to their special tabs publishing common content in the portal locale is now a quick and easy process and can be worked with just as with the standard Html module
• Support for multilingual module titles - without the need to go on the module settings page the module titel can be customized for any supported locale
• Statistics Support -  if enabled from within the advanced tab the module will display a note below the content stating the most recent update date and / or updating author 
• Content for different roles - allows for publishing based on the role of the current user. Content can be sorted by priority. 
• Extended replacement token support - Support for Portaltitle, Portal Description, Portal E-Mail
• Special Add-On - from the tab Newsletter the content of the module can now be sent out via the new Bulk e-mail feature - this option send the content in the language of the recipient's locale!

Technical news:

• Links to image files in the portal directory are now being stored with their fileid - this allows for moving files with the filemanager without resulting in broken links
• Replacement tokens are read from an XML file - in future versions this will allow for custom user defined replacement filters 
• Users get now content from other locales if no content for their locale is found
